Your AI Readiness Snapshot
One page, written for you by a person, not a template engine.
Your preliminary readiness stage
Where your business sits today on the same four-stage scale we use in a full Evaluation — and the one thing most likely to move you to the next stage.
A possible first workflow
The repetitive task you described, and whether it looks like a good first place for AI support — or a poor one, and why.
Training considerations
Who would need to learn what, and roughly how much of a lift that is for a team your size.
Data and risk considerations
What information the workflow touches, what should stay with a person, and anything that puts it out of bounds for now.
Recommended next steps
Two or three concrete things to do next — some of them free, some of them ours, all of them honest.
Three steps, and only one of them is yours
You answer twelve questions.
About four minutes. There are no trick questions and no wrong answers — "I honestly don't know" is an option where it should be, and it's a useful answer.
We read them — a person does.
Loli Mari Montalvo, who runs Sunset for Everyone and an NYC events business with exactly this kind of workflow, reads every submission and writes your Snapshot against the same readiness scale used in a full Evaluation.
You receive your Snapshot by email within two business days.
If it makes sense to talk, the email says so and gives you a link. If it doesn't, it says that too.
Twelve questions. Four minutes. One honest page.
A person reads every answer. You'll hear back within two business days.
What this is, and isn't.
The Preliminary AI Readiness Assessment is complimentary and based on the information you provide. It is a starting point, not a technical audit, security assessment, legal opinion, compliance certification or promise of savings — and it may conclude that AI is not the right fit for a given workflow yet. That's a useful answer too.
Your information.
What you submit is used to write your Snapshot and to reply to you. It is not sold, shared, or fed into any system you haven't been told about, and it is deleted on request. Don't include customer names, account numbers, or anything confidential — the questions don't need them.
This is for you if
- You run or manage a business or organization and a share of your team's week goes to repetitive, routine work
- You've been pitched AI tools and would like an independent view before you buy one
- You'd rather hear "not yet" than buy something that sits unused
Not the right step if
- You already know exactly what you want built — ask about a pilot instead
- Your workflow involves medical records, privileged legal material, or student education records — we don't work in those categories yet, and we'll say so in your Snapshot
Before you start
Is this really free?
Yes. It costs you four minutes and costs us about twenty. It's how we find out whether there's anything worth talking about, and you get a useful page either way.
Will someone call me?
Not unless you ask. The Snapshot arrives by email; if a conversation would help, the email says so and leaves it to you.
How is this different from the Evaluation?
This is a preliminary read based on what you tell us. The Evaluation is a paid three-week engagement in which we interview your team, measure your real inquiry traffic, map every routine workflow, and design one in full. The Snapshot tells you whether the Evaluation is worth your money — and sometimes it tells you it isn't yet.
What if we're not ready?
Then your Snapshot says so and tells you the one or two things that would change that. Some of them are free and take a weekend. Some of them are a short paid Foundations engagement. Either way you'll know.
English or Spanish?
Either. Answer in whichever you prefer; you'll receive your Snapshot in the same language.
Find out where AI actually belongs in your business.
